The Nockalm Road - Further hiking tips
The Nockbergs National Park is an unusually rewarding hiking region: short ascents, well-marked trails, no technical difficulties, tremendous crest hikes and enchanting photo motifs. The following suggestions name the destination and altitude, altitude difference (A/D), the ascent time and the marked trail number. The alpine-meadow trail 118 turns off to the north-east at the bridge below the "Nockalmhof" to the Kesselgrubenalm and the old iron mine. The one-hour hike further to the Grünleitennock is rewarding for its magnificent panoramic view. |

Trail 119 leads from the parking area before the Pfandlalm to the north and through a stand of larch onto the broad shoulder further on to the summit. |

The trail leads to the north-east from the Zechneralm through a treeless valley on to the Friesenhals Saddle and directly to the solitary lake. There is no trail but within 20 minutes one easily reaches the summit of the Seenock to enjoy its many marvellous views. |
