JAUCHZA! Hütte
The JAUCHZA! Hütte is a charming mountain restaurant offering apartments and a cozy chalet. In addition to high-quality cuisine, it provides comfortable accommodation for those who want to experience the Nockalm region more intensively. The hut also offers space for seminars and events in a truly inspiring setting.

Penkerhütte
Located near Innerkrems at about 1,790 meters above sea level, the Penkerhütte is known for its hearty "Brettljause" – a traditional platter with farm-produced specialties. It is especially popular among families and hikers. Simple, rustic rooms are available for overnight stays.

Nockalmhof with Biosphere Park Center
At approximately 1,700 meters, the Nockalmhof combines culinary enjoyment with learning. Small regional dishes are served in the bistro, while guests can also explore the engaging exhibition on the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve. A 3D film and well-stocked shop round out the offering. Starting in 2024, comfortable apartments will also be available for overnight stays.

Heiligenbachhütte
The Heiligenbachhütte is a rustic alpine hut with its own dairy, where you can enjoy delicious alpine cheese, fresh butter, and a traditional Carinthian "Jause" (snack). It lies in a peaceful spot about 150 meters off the road at around 1,850 meters above sea level. The hut also offers vacation apartments with a total of ten beds – ideal for an extended stay surrounded by nature.

Pfandlhütte
Situated at 1,877 meters, the Pfandlhütte is located next to the "Wild Nockberge" exhibition, which is especially popular with families. It offers regional dishes, a sunny terrace, and is a great place to stop along the scenic route.

Zechneralm – Culinary Delights, Farmers’ Market & Alpine Life at 1,900 m
A popular gathering point at the beginning of the road is the Zechneralm. In addition to a sunny terrace with a view of the Nockberge mountains, it serves homemade Carinthian specialties such as smoked bacon, "Kasnudeln" (cheese dumplings), and "Kaiserschmarrn" (shredded pancake). The farmers’ market next to the hut is highly recommended – here you’ll find regional delicacies like alpine cheese, honey, and homemade schnapps, perfect for taking a piece of the Nockberge home with you.

Eisentalhöhe
At the highest point of the Nockalm Road – 2,042 meters – you’ll find a small bistro with a farm shop. From the terrace, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. The shop sells regional specialties, souvenirs, and natural cosmetic products made with alpine Speik – perfect for a culinary break with a view.

Tangernerhütte (1,715 m)
The Tangernerhütte is about a 20-minute walk from the Nockalm Road (a parking lot is nearby). This alpine dairy hut produces its own cheese, homemade bacon, liqueurs, and freshly baked goods every day. A playground and petting zoo make it especially appealing for families. Overnight stays are available.

Stangalm (1,700 m)
Accessible on foot in about 45 minutes from the Nockalm Road, the Stangalm is a favorite among locals. Around 80 liters of fresh milk are processed daily into butter and various cheeses on this working alpine farm.

Kirchheimer Wolitzenhütte
Just a short walk (via a forest road) from the Grundalm, the Wolitzenhütte is located at around 1,777 meters. In addition to a traditional snack station, it features a small petting zoo and offers the possibility to stay overnight. Children especially love the relaxed, playful atmosphere of this hut.

Glockenhütte on the Schiestlscharte
Dramatically perched at around 2,024 meters, the Glockenhütte features a cozy restaurant, a farmers’ market with regional products, an exhibition, and a multimedia presentation about the Nockberge. Its Biker’s Point makes it a particularly popular destination for motorcyclists. Overnight accommodations are available.

Priesshütte (1,700 m)
Located directly on the Nockalm Road, the Priesshütte offers classic Carinthian home-style cooking, traditional Reindling cake, and schnapps. Overnight stays are also possible.
