Magical mountain concerts
23. July 2025The Nockberge Biosphere Reserve invites you to a very special mountain concert with music, staged readings and a bar and campfire afterwards. The landscape of the Silva Magica on the Grundalm, enchanted by nature spirits, provides the magical stage.
Magical places - especially those in the middle of the mountains - have always inspired musicians and writers. It is therefore not surprising that Goethe's poem about fairies, Astrid Lindgren's story about a water spirit and Michael Ende's little girl Momo can also be found on the Grundalm - in the middle of the Silva Magica nature trail. The music ensemble CORNUCOPIA (Hans Laubreiter, Michael Samitz, Hans Kofler, Monika Peitler) will set these texts to music on two evenings and also present atmospheric original compositions, embedded in the evening landscape of the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve. Visitors are guided to magical places and experience a small concert in the centre of the ‘Silva Magica sound stage’.
