The Nockalm Road is now a member of Austrian Leading Sights and therefore part of the network of Austria’s leading attractions and visitor destinations. Its admission to this renowned network recognises the road’s high-quality visitor experience, its importance for tourism and its distinctive combination of nature, education and enjoyment.

A trip along the Nockalm Road does not have to be planned down to the smallest detail. Still, it helps to know in advance which stops can be combined well. Along the 34-kilometre road, visitors will find exhibitions, viewpoints, short walks and places to stop for refreshments – and each stop reveals a different side of the Nockberge mountains.
